Release Notes

‘Windows8.1 ‘ contains task definition files for Windows 8.1. These are for use in reverting from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1, and are to be used in exactly the same way as Windows7 is used when reverting to Windows 7.

Reviews for this release

This is kind of a composite review for both the main RepairTasks program and this package, since I use Windows 8.1. About a year back, I tried using this software after reverting from my Windows 10 upgrade, and got nowhere fast - RepairTasks was able to single out some issues, but couldn't fix them without a Zip for my OS. This task set fixed that, and XML errors now don't show up when I open my Task Scheduler. Thank you so much. There's one issue I've run into though; it doesn't seem to fix or replace anything pertaining to straight-up missing services (in this case, my Task Scheduler tasks are completely missing.) I've tried manually inserting the tasks via the Task Scheduler program, but only was able to put in three out of the four task files (Maintenance_Configurator keeps returning an error that the "Task Scheduler service is not available" when I try to add it.) How should I go about fixing this?
